Palakkad MuraliKrishnan

For over three decades, Palakkad MuraliKrishnan has dedicated his life to Carnatic music as a flautist, mridangam artist, music director, performer, and educator. Through AMV Music Academy, his mission is to make authentic Indian classical music accessible to students around the world.

Beyond performance and teaching, he is also the creator of Amrithangam®, a modern evolution of the traditional mridangam designed for today's musicians. Every course, concert, and innovation reflects his commitment to preserving tradition while embracing practical advancements for the next generation.
